Have Fun This Winter: Ski Resorts Recommendation in Syracuse

Winter is coming, and skiing is an important outdoor activity for people looking to have fun in a CNY winter Here are our Syracuse winter ski resort recommendations.

Greek Peak Mountain Resort

This Resort has a vertical drop of 952 feet, located near Cortland. Greek Peak offers day and night skiing 7 days a week from late December until mid March. The mountain has 55 trails with varied terrain served by 6 chair lifts, and 2 magic carpet lifts.

Greek Peak also has a tubing center with a tubing handle tow, and a cross country Nordic center featuring 10 trails.

A terrain park with chutes and tubes for snowboarders is also located on the mountain along with the Progression Park, which is more suited for people just starting out.

Labrador Mountain Resort

Labrador Mountain Resort has over 20 trails for skiing which including 17 lighted trails. Visitors could enjoy the night skiing. What’s more all “Full” Inter-Mountain Passports are valid at Song or Labrador without restrictions. Two mountains for the price of one!

Song Mountain Resort

According to its official website, Song Mountain offers a variety of advanced, intermediate or beginner terrain for skiers and boarders. Song Mountain is also a wonderful place to enjoy skiing, besides this resort has a park specially for children. Night skiing under stars would also be a cool experience if you choose to come here at night. For the price, Song Mountain Resorts has a season pass and it is cheaper than normal tickets. If you love skiing, it could be a good choice.

Toggenburg Winter Sports Center

Toggenburg Mountain Winter Sports Center has been Central New York’s family place to ski and ride for more than half century. The mountain has over 20 trails for the visitors to ski. This ski resort is one of the most acclaimed one in Central New York. Just like other resorts mentioned above, this resort offers basic lessons for all level skiers.

Toggenburg is located at Toggenburg Road, just 30 minutes from Syracuse.

Four Seasons Golf & Ski Resort

Four Seasons Golf and Ski Center offers everything you and your family need to have great family fun in the winter at a small ski area located in Fayetteville, New York. This resort is relatively smaller than other resorts  mentioned above, only has 10 lanes. However, this is enough for you and your family to play with snow and enjoy the speed and excites.

Snow Ridge Ski Resort

Snow Ridge in Turin, has been serving up exceptional skiing as well as snowboarding since 1945. They receive 230” of beautiful lake effect snow annually, making it some of the deepest skiing in the Northeast!
