She knows firsthand how challenging it can be to fight temptation when eating out, so she made it her mission to create a menu that caters exclusively to healthy keto recipes.

The Keto Menu

The keto menu currently features four appetizers, four sandwiches and seven entrees. Vigliotti diligently calculated the macros (carbs, proteins, and fats) for each dish so customers can easily keep track of their numbers. Choices include meals such as chicken or beef tacos, a bacon cheeseburger, parmesan dijon crusted pork or bacon-topped ribeye.

When following the keto diet, good fats are your friends and carbs are the enemy. Dolce Vita makes sure their dishes include healthy keto fats such as cheese, sour cream, avocados, bacon and heavy cream. They also offer a variety of carb substitutions that don’t make you feel like you’re being deprived of the “real” thing.

Keto Brownie

Vigliotti said their zoodle dishes are popular among customers. By replacing traditional noodles with zucchini noodles, zoodles can satisfy your pasta craving. Their cauliflower mash comes in asiago scallion, horseradish or bacon scallion flavor which replaces mashed potatoes in eight of their dishes. While avoiding bread is important, it’s still possible to have a sandwich with bread at Dolce Vita. Their bread is made with almond flour as opposed to white flour.

Perfecting a keto crab cake was also important to Vigliotti. She said they replaced the panko with almond flour. Additionally, they substituted red pepper and red onions for white onions, scallions, and green peppers. They also offer perfectly portioned keto desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. Ask your server which desserts they’re offering that day.

Dolce Vita’s keto menu has something for everyone. You no longer have to flip through a menu of temptations looking for those few keto-friendly food items or ask the server to modify meals (i.e. the bunless burger or salad minus the croutons).

“The keto menu has taken over,” Vigliotti said.
